Thermal Control Membrane in Attic

Radiant barriers are measured by reflectivity and emissivity.  In Australia, radiant barriers are part of the building codes and must be installed in every new home and building.
One of the criteria for approval of a radiant barrier is the emissivity value (for an explanation of emissivity click here ).
The University of Australia has a facility for testing emissivity for code compliance and below are the results from testing of our Thermal Control Membrane product.  The measured emissivity of the second surface at .02 is the lowest ever recorded by this facility.  Before purchasing a radiant barrier, make sure you have proof of the "measured emissivity".
