Who makes this stuff anyway?

Hi, I'm Brad Lindsay, soon to be famous inventor, patent holder and owner of Horizon Energy Systems aspires to change the way we consume energy with with cutting edge, state of the art technology.
I started Horizon Energy Systems in Detroit in the spring of 1978 with a focus on solar energy and energy efficient furnaces and boilers.  Not being able generate much solar energy through grey skies it became apparent a move to sunny climate may enhance my business opportunities in the solar field.  The economic downturn in Detroit during 1981 was my incentive to seek greener pastures.  I returned my lease vehicles, loaded up a rusty Ford van with everything I could pack into it and on top of and hit the road not knowing where I may settle.
Heading South on I-75 I stopped in Nashville and looked around.  Pretty city but the rain made me push on.  Florida was sunny but void of mountains and full of mosquitoes.  New Orleans was a great place to get wild but lacked what I was looking for.  Winding up in Houston Texas (which was the fastest growing city in the US at the time), looked promising but still didn't feel like home.  Through Dallas, up to Tucson and then to Phoenix.  Palm trees, blue skies and plenty of sunshine.  My next planned stop after Phoenix was Denver then over to LA but something about the desert air, blue skies and flaming sunsets made me drop anchor.
And here I've been since.  Having had the background of contracting in the cold North, the desert presented a new twist on building science and I have been here ever since evolving my products and services in an effort to offer proven world class products at an affordable price.
I came up with the slogan "Conserving Enegy Today. . . For Tomorrow" in 1981 and it looks like tomorrow finally arrived.  I hope you enjoy my site and I look forward to helping you save energy and making your home more comfortable.
