Description of Work:
The following work shall be performed on three separate residential
buildings:
- Main house (RBS
Wrap and chips on walls/ceilings, powered attic venting, load
controller)
- Pool house (RBS Wrap on walls/ceilings, powered attic fan)
- Guest house (RBS
Chips in attic, powered attic fan)
The following estimate is for all the buildings listed above.
Main House:
Install radiant barrier system (RBS), in roofing and walls to reduce
heat gain, lower electrical demand and increase comfort of
residence. Exterior walls to be firred out using 1/4" lath strips
16" (there is a possibility of
using our latest mulit-layered RBS product which would negate the need
for firring strips) on center, around windows, doors and
corners. RBS (two layers), shall be mechanically fastened to the
exterior of all exposed walls and under inaccessible flat and low
pitched roof decks.
RBS Chips to be blown in over a bed of R-19 cellulose in all areas
accessible Home to be pre-wired for a load controller to control all
A/C units to lower demand.
Add attic fans and dormer venting
in South and North ends of building.
